We have been providing Business Advisory, Accounting and Financial Planning advice to clients for over 30 years. Our professional leadership and advice team have many years of experience across a wide range of areas including Accounting, Tax, Financial Planning, Finance Advice, Business Advice, Superannuation, Investments, Personal Protection, Business Leadership, Strategy and Estate Planning Planning and Business Legal services.

We work closely with clients in a variety of industries. While they come from different sectors, they are united by the need to take control of their businesses – whether it is by switching to cloud accounting or help in managing business growth better.

We provide a personalised business advisory service assisting businesses with developing and implementing strategies to assist them in achieving their goals and objectives. We focus on providing insight and quality timely information that is specifically designed to help them make efficient, proactive decisions instead of reactive decisions and are specialists in detailed three-way forecasting.

Our advice journey started in 1986 when one of our Directors Martin Hunter formed Hunter Financial Services, an advice practice focused on helping clients achieve their financial goals and objectives. In 1989, another one of our Directors Scott Kirkwood also formed a financial services advice practice which quickly became one of Adelaide's top quality advice businesses. In 1996, our Director of Accounting and Tax, Tony Taormina opened an Accounting practice to provide business owners with Accounting, Tax and Business advice. Many of our clients today date back to that era and we have advised them over the last 35+ years as they have transitioned through various stages of their personal and business lives with us as their financial advice or accounting advisers.

We formed Caveo Partners in 2014 after significant research and in response to client feedback that supported the need for “Integrated Advice” as well as to focus completely on the needs and goals of our clients.

In July 2016 we merged with VCA Accountants, a long established tax and accounting firm providing business and tax advice to a broad range of businesses in South Australia as well as interstate. VCA Accounting was formed in 2006 by one of our Directors of Accounting Tax and Business Advice, Vincent Cavaleri. VCA also provided clients with access to quality finance, bookkeeping, financial planning and legal advice services.

In February 2017, Caveo Partners Legal was formed to provide quality legal advice to clients in the areas of, wills, estate planning, commercial and business law.

In July 2018 we saw the need to assist businesses in digitising their overall financial management. We initially developed a joint venture and then merged in June 2019 with one of the leading providers of Digital Management Accounting services in Adelaide, Pro-AMS Services.

In July 2022 we completed a merger with InterAcct Business Consulting an accounting firm with a strong business advisory focus.

InterAcct has an office in Port Lincoln which has become our Caveo Pt Lincoln office. They service clients in both Pt Lincoln and Adelaide. Their history dates back over 30 years.

One of our new Directors Brett Wiseman commenced his career with the firm in 1987, becoming a partner in 1998. The firm was initially a traditional tax and accounting compliance firm but decided to increasingly provide clients with more initiative-taking and forward looking advice, becoming more business advisory focused in 2011.

James Rogalski, another one of our new Directors joined the firm as a partner in 2013 upon the retirement of the practice founder. Brett & James soon found their skills in demand and the firm went through a period of growth, with clients wanting their innovative business advisory services.

Carly Thornton a new Associate, joined InterAcct as a partner in 2020 to add much needed depth to both the tax and business advisory teams. She brings a wealth of tax, business advisory and franchise systems knowledge as well as over 10 years of leadership experience to the group.

In December 2023 Caveo completed a merger with a leading wealth advice business, Hunter Financial Services.

The founding Director and Adviser Martin Hunter has been at the forefront of financial advice for a long time and in 2014 Martin was awarded the prestigious FPA Certified Financial Planner® Professional of the Year Award for SA, a great achievement.

Today, our qualified team of advice professionals includes Certified Practicing Accountants, Certified Financial Planners and Chartered Tax Advisers, most with over 20 years of advice experience and expertise.
